Coloring (clarity in photos): Good idea putting it against a black blackground. It really defines the outline of the bulb.
Concept: Are you trying to set the flower on fire? It looks like you are, though I can't tell. It doesn't matter much, though.
Effort: This couldn't have been an easy photo to take. The bulb's outline is really clear, and so is most of the picture. It doesn't have a glare in it from the lightbulb, either.
